Return and Refund Policy

At Healthstyle Labs, we strive to provide a seamless clinical testing experience. Because our services involve physician-reviewed lab requisitions and laboratory processing, our refund policy differs from traditional retail.

1. Refund Eligibility

  • Before Specimen Collection: You may request a refund for any unused lab requisition within 60 days (2 months) of the purchase date.

  • After Specimen Collection: Once your blood has been drawn or a specimen has been submitted to the laboratory, no refunds will be issued, as clinical processing has already begun.

  • Administrative Fee: All approved refunds are subject to a $15.00 administrative fee to cover the cost of the physician review, portal maintenance, and merchant processing fees.

2. Order Expiration (The 2-Month Rule)

  • All lab requisitions are valid for 2 months (60 days) from the date of purchase.

  • If you do not visit the lab for your draw within this 60-day window, the requisition will expire.

  • Expired orders are non-refundable and non-transferable. It is the patient's responsibility to complete their testing within this timeframe.

3. Non-Returnable Items

  • Lab Requisitions: Since these are digital clinical documents, they cannot be "returned" in the traditional sense.

  • Completed Tests: Once results have been released to your dashboard, the service is considered fully rendered and is non-refundable.

4. Unsuccessful Draws & Lab Errors

  • Difficult Draws: If a laboratory technician is unable to collect a specimen (common with pediatric patients or small veins), you are entitled to a re-attempt at no additional cost. If you choose to cancel instead of re-attempting, a refund will be issued minus the $15 administrative fee.

  • Laboratory Errors: If a sample is lost or damaged by the laboratory (e.g., "Specimen Hemolyzed"), we will provide a complimentary re-draw at your convenience.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for an unused requisition, please email info@healthstylelabs.com with your Order Number and the reason for cancellation. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
